This week, our admin team and graduate assistants stepped out of the classroom and into the community.
They volunteered at Gather55, a restaurant where every meal helps fight food insecurity and bring people together. From prepping in the kitchen to serving meals and supporting guests, they experienced public health in action—meeting people where they are and supporting initiatives that create real impact.
Opportunities like this reflect our program’s commitment to building partnerships, promoting wellness as a fundamental right, and engaging meaningfully with the communities we serve.
💙 Thank you to @gather55restaraunt and @handsonhartford for the opportunity to give back
