What influenced your decision to pursue a Master of Public Health at UConn?: Growing up, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in a health-related field. While completing my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, I was involved in research projects such as the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program (UConn TAB) and the Equity in Livability Project, which showed me the intersection between engineering and public health. Through UConn TAB, I explored environmental health and how environmental conditions can impact communities, while the Equity in Livability Project exposed me to the connection between transportation, roadway safety, and community well-being. These experiences sparked my interest in addressing health at a broader, population level and influenced my decision to pursue a Master of Public Health at UConn

Background: I am originally from Warsaw, Poland, but I grew up in East Hampton, Connecticut. I recently completed my BSE in Civil Engineering at UConn. After graduation, I gained some experience in land development before transitioning to my current role with CTDOT as a Traffic Engineer.

Life Outside Work and School: Outside of work and school, I enjoy traveling & exploring new places, playing tennis, working out at the gym, mountain biking, cooking, photography, being an active member of the Connecticut Society of Civil Engineers, and spending lots of time with family & friends.
