What influenced your decision to pursue a Master of Public Health at UConn?: The field of public health combines my lifelong core interests of Social Science and Health. Pursuing an MPH at UConn allows me to continue learning about such a diverse field while gaining hands-on, real-world experience.
Background: I am originally from Arlington Heights, IL, and moved to Indiana to pursue my undergraduate degree. I graduated from Purdue University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Psychology.
Life Outside Work and School: I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time outside! I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, foods, and traditions.
Your immediate (next 1-5 years) career goals: I would ideally work for a state or local health department to contribute to community and population health initiatives.
