What influenced your decision to pursue a Master of Public Health at UConn?: After having a positive and productive experience with the FastTrack program in Storrs, I decided to continue with the full program to learn how to address local issues I care about in CT.
Background: I was born and raised in Central Connecticut and recently graduated from UConn with a BA/BS in Anthropology and Molecular & Cell Biology.
Life Outside Work and School: Outside of work and school, I like to hike, bike, and swim regularly. I am also a musician who plays the trumpet with OUCH (Orchestra of UConn Health) and sings at my local church. I live with my immediate family and my chocolate lab Gracie.
Your immediate (next 1-5 years) career goals: My immediate career goal is to work in a position supporting maternal and child health, especially for those with neurodevelopmental and other related disabilities. I would like to work to increase access to quality healthcare and public health interventions in these areas.
