Nafeiza Gregory

Graduation year from MPH program: May 2024

My name is Nafeiza (Fefe) Gregory, and I am a first-generation UConn Alumni. I currently hold my master’s in public health and would like to pursue my PHD in Epidemiology. In the meantime, however, I am currently serving as an AmeriCorps member in the greater Hartford area at Central AHEC, which is a non-profit organization that helps to prepare the next generation of providers and public health workers in Greater Hartford. Serving with AmeriCorps as a Health Profession Pipeline Coordinator has been a rewarding experience. I am able to build upon my creative, critical and interprofessional skills. We partner with high schools, universities and non-profit community organizations towards providing education, hosting events, health career opportunities, and volunteering all while maintaining and forming new partnerships in the process. Having my MPH in addition to connections I have made while being a student at UConn/UCHC has played a vital role in my approach towards serving the Hartford community and I am excited for what the future holds.
